The Human Staff
Like any embassy, we have people who help promote and communicate what we represent.
At Fairy Embassy, this role is shared by Bua, the Maker, and Big, the Curator.
Bua and Big are siblings. Our relationship with the fairies was inherited from our mother, who originally crafted silk flowers.
Somewhere along the way, a series of synchronicities led her from making flowers to making fairies.
So fairies began as objects for us. Over time, however, they became more than objects. They became Presences we could encounter and relate to.
As we spent time with them, created figurines to represent them, and sent them out into the world, they began to express themselves through phenomena, stories, and personalities of their own.
What began as something we made gradually became something we encountered.
And that is where our relationship with the fairies began.
